Utah is the state with the strictest liquor laws in the USA. As a foreigner, I have a different point of view about the situation in Utah . When I came to the USA, I saw Utah as a very beautiful, but extremely conservative place. There is no night life and part of the reason for that is the strict liquor laws. I believe that if the Alcohol Beverage Control Commission was to have members representing not only the conservatives, but also the liberal point of view, then more businesses in Utah would benefit. The revenue of Utah would double and it would be a more attractive place to visitors. That is why I decided to write the proposal to the governor of the state, because I believe that a small change in few liquor laws can contribute to a more beneficial situation in the current crisis.
